Knit the rainbow!
Named for the shimmering rainbow bridge connecting heaven and earth in Norse mythology, this simple bias knit scarf is a colorful romp through every hue in the rainbow.
Designed to be worked from dozens of short lengths of yarn, this pattern includes a tutorial for the clasp-weft join – a technique borrowed from weaving – which eliminates the need to weave in dozens of ends.
After the first few rows, this scarf is easy to knit without the pattern – perfect for social knitting or travel. Knitted in Infinite Twist's Helix, it's next-to-the-skin soft with gorgeous hand-feel and drape.
Six colors, two patterns, and so much fun!
Whether you choose the long, sweeping lines of Behind the Sun (shown in yellow/grey) or the modular construction of Log Cabin (shown below in burgundy/brown), our samplers give you a unique chance to experience all the handspun yarns in our range and end up with one very special shawl.
Each kit comes with five 50-yard skeins in a mix of Halo Heather, Orbit Heather, Halo Shine, Cosmos, and Qinghai Handspun, plus one large skein of Orbit Heather or Halo Heather (yardage varies - at least 150 yards), both patterns, and all the knitting notions you'll need to complete the project, including two size 8 / 5.0 mm x 80 cm circular needles, stitch markers, two-color pattern marking pencil, and a yarn needle.
Kit Collaborations with MSkiKnits
Timeless. Simple. Breathtaking.
MSkiKnit's Pali starts with natural linen and mother-of-pearl elements - then combines these materials with an easy-to-knit design motif to transform them into something more than the sum of its parts: an easy-to-wear stole that is unforgettable and seasonless.
Available in two gorgeous yarn options, Ikaika is a wonderfully wearable sweater. It's a perfect layering piece for cool weather, and a quick enjoyable knit.
Named for her daughter's favorite horse (whose name means "strong" in Hawaiian), these sweaters are knitted with two strands of yarn held together. The kits come with the yarn already wound double for a no-fuss knitting experience.
- We have less than 10 Ikaika II kits left in stock including matching notions pouch, notebook, and buttons. If you've been thinking about this kit, now is the time!
- The kilt pins used on Ikaika can't be shipped to addresses outside of the U.S. and China due to customs regulations. Hand-knotted buttons will be substituted for international orders. Thanks for your understanding!
Crisp, clear, bold transitions right alongside blurred, blended marbled places - four very district parts of one shawl. Hapa by MskiKnits is an effortless work of art for you to create.
Knit completely in garter, colour changes are created simply without leaving a bunch of loose ends left to take care of when you cast off. Hapa has a split middle at the lower edge and gives it an added element of distinction of parts that come together to form a whole.
Paired with Infinite Twist Helix, Hapa yields a soft and cozy shawl in subtly shifting semi-solid colors.
