Pre-Orders for Myriad Two-Color Brioche Shawl
Pre-Orders for Myriad Two-Color Brioche Shawl
Inspired by ripples on the surface of water, this shawl was designed and knit during the rainy season in Singapore where I was able to watch the patterns of rain on water nearly every single day. Comprised of yarns from two places whose histories are shaped by ocean-going trade, this shawl brings together a delightful speckled yarn (Papiput Tough Sock from Indonesia) and a rich semi-solid (Infinite Twist Helix, dyed in Singapore).
Knit in two-color brioche, this triangular shawl features a faux i-cord edging, rippled top edge, and an undulating motif that is easy to memorize after a few repeats. The shawl measures 88 inches / 224 cm tip to tip, and is 24 inches / 61 cm deep at the center point. The colorway shown is Heliotrope & The Struggle is Real.
Kit includes 1750 yards of yarn in total, an 80 cm bamboo circular knitting needle in U.S. size 3 / 3.25 mm, a set of bamboo DPNs in U.S. size 3 / 3.25 mm, a yarn needle, stitch markers, and the pattern.
