Fates and Graces Gradients - Sun Over Wheat 2

55.00

Good things come in threes.

Named for mythic sisters in Greek Mythology, Fates and Graces are three-packs of cake-dyed gradients. They are sisters (from the same dye lot), but not triplets. Variegated, speckled, or semi-solid, each stripe brings something new to your needles.

The yarn used to make these gradients is Helix, but missing a bit of twist. Every hundred skeins or so, the mill produces a skein of Helix that doesn't have quite as much twist as it should. I put these skeins aside for dye experiments, and thus Fates and Graces were born.

There are two patterns available for this yarn - the Fates & Graces Echo Shawl (photos 2 & 3), and the Fates & Graces Bias Scarf (photo 4).

Because only one set of Fates & Graces is available in this color, this listing is set up for the Echo Shawl kit, which includes 3 x 200 yds Fates and Graces Cakes, plus 500 yds Infinite Twist Helix (1100 yards in all), the pattern, three 3.75 mm x 80 cm bamboo circular needles and a set of 3.75 mm DPNs (U.S. size 5), and a notions pack with stitch markers in three colors and a yarn needle.

Please leave me a note at checkout if you would prefer Dovecote (light grey, shown on blue/green sample) or Graphite (dark grey, shown on maroon/orange sample).

If you want the Echo Shawl yarn and pattern but don’t need needles or notions, the price is $82. If you would like the the Fates and Graces yarn cakes alone, they are $55. In either case, please leave a note at check out and I will manually process your refund. Thanks!
