The Cephalopod Collection

Who doesn’t need a full set of life-sized, squishy, tentacled companions? Start off at the easy end of the spectrum with an octopus in one of three sizes, ranging from pint-sized Opie the Mini-Octopus to magnum Opus the Octopus, or Opal the Medium Octopus who’s right in between. Inkling the Squid is slightly more detailed, and if you’re looking for a fun knitting challenge with multiple techniques and a lot of tentacles, Horatio the Nautilus is your guy.

Kits include specialty eyes, wool tentacle stuffing (Horatio’s tentacles are unstuffed, but his kit comes with wool hood stuffing), bamboo dpns and circular needles as called for in the pattern, and all the hand-dyed yarn you’ll need to complete the project already doubled and ready to knit.

Patterns are available individually on Ravelry, and you can get Opal, Opie, Horatio, and Inkling for $10 when you buy all four (the Opus pattern is already free).
