Today, I bring you the big reveal of last week's F. O. Friday mystery: Hayward in Lichen!
Lichen is a fun colorway because it has a lot of color and contrast: chartreuse, olive, moss, and chocolate brown all mixed together.
I think a lot of knitters would have picked a less complex colorway for Hayward, but I love how it turned out.
What I wanted to show with this sample is that this pattern is substantial enough to work well with with a yarn with quite a bit of contrast. While it would be gorgeous in a solid as well, I love the amount of visual interest this combination yielded.
